Join Beth + acupuncturist Bronwyn, owner of DC Acupuncture, for an intimate, grounding, and soothing Acupuncture, Yoga, and Sound Bath experience. During this 90-minute workshop, participants will experience a full Yin Yoga practice accompanied by the soothing sounds of a live crystal bowl sound bath.
Yin is a practice of stillness, and poses are held for 3-5 minutes on each side, supported by props. Yin focuses on flexibility and patience, by targeting deep connective tissue. This style of yoga is accessible to practitioners of all levels. During an extended savasana, you’ll receive a four-point acupuncture treatment intended to deepen the connection between your mind and body, and promote a sense of ease, deep relaxation, and easy sleep.

Yoga with a litter of rescue puppies!
Join us at Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington for a session of puppy yoga with a litter of five-month old lab mix-ish rescue puppies, to benefit Fancy Cats and Dogs Rescue. These puppies will eventually be available for adoption, but they won't be able to go home with anyone the afternnon of the yoga events.
We are limiting this event to only 25 participants, to maintain a favorable puppy/human ratio.
The event is a mellow, mostly seated yoga practice (including a lot of dog/puppy yoga poses) for people ages 10 and older (our insurance requires participants be no younger than 10).
We will practice in the second floor loft area of Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington. Please note, the class is on the second floor of the building, with no elevator access. You will have to walk up 2 short flights of stairs.
